Our fearless leader Megan Ward was served on a panel of preliminary judges for UGA’s 2023 Three Minute Thesis Competition, better known as the 3MT.
In this fast-paced competition, grad students explain their thesis or dissertation and its significance in a three-minute speed presentation. The judges evaluate based on communication skills, engagement, visual support, and overall comprehension—specifically asking, “Can you explain your thesis in three minutes to a nonspecialist audience?”
Megan’s selection is a testament to her impressive knowledge and expertise in curation, and gave her an opportunity to serve the wider graduate school community. Thank you for sharing your TEDxUGA skills beyond the red round rug, Megan!
