We’re elated to share that out of 7,000 student workers across campus, our own Esther Kim has been named the 2023 UGA Student Worker of the Year! This annual award, determined by a committee of faculty, staff, and students from across campus, takes into account an array of different criteria when selecting the winner: critical thinking skills, teamwork and collaboration, leadership, professionalism, written communication, and more!
In addition to her work as TEDxUGA Curator, Esther is a pre-med, Public Relations student, and Executive Director of the Backpack Project. We don’t know how she juggles it all, but she goes above and beyond in everything she does and we’re honored to have her as part of the NMI fam. Esther will return to the NMI next year to continue providing leadership and expertise to TEDxUGA. Congratulations, Esther! ?
