Welcome to the tenth annual Hunger Bowl, the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia’s competitive food drive that aims to address hunger and combat food insecurity.
This year, the New Media Institute and Ted Lasso are helping lead the charge in the College of Journalism and Mass Communication. Faculty, staff, and students are coming together to donate money and non-perishable goods.
So far, we’ve collected almost 6,000 meals that will be provided to the region’s most vulnerable citizens. We’re on the way to surpassing our goal of providing 10,250 meals, but we need your help!
There are just a few days left for you to make a difference. Getting involved is easy: Venmo the NMI at @beeb210, donate through the Virtual Food Drive, or drop off donations on Journalism’s 2nd and 4th floors—you can’t miss the legendary coach and his soccer goals!
Thank you to everyone who has joined Ted Lasso and the team so far. We don’t just BELIEVE we can make a difference, we know we can—one meal at a time. With just a few days left, let’s make this Hunger Bowl the most impactful!
