Developed for client Andrew MacDonald, Nudge tackles one of campus’ most persistent problems: the gap between needing help and finding it. Powered by AI-driven matching algorithms and real-time proximity technology, Nudge connects students based on exactly what they need and who’s nearby to help. Someone confused on their computer science project can connect with a fellow UGA student at the MLC right now, and another student prepping for interviews can connect with a peer who recently landed a similar role, all within minutes. Unlike impersonal chatbots or inconsistent group chats, Nudge delivers the speed of technology with the warmth of human connection. Users simply post what they need and Nudge matches them with verified students who can assist. In-app messaging, students verification, and rating systems ensure safety and trust, while temporary location sharing keeps privacy front and center.
