Megan Tapped to Join Campus Group of Women Leaders

March 1, 2017
We are thrilled to share that Megan Ward has been selected to join the inaugural cohort of the Women’s Staff Leadership Institute. Megan was nominated and chosen from a large pool of highly qualified UGA women staff, and she feels very honored to be participating in this new initiative.
The Women’s Staff Leadership Institute is designed to support and encourage women to flourish, advance, and make their full contributions during their careers at the University of Georgia.
As a participant in the Institute, Megan will learn from extraordinary women leaders at UGA and develop her own leadership identity. In the two years since Scott Shamp’s departure, Megan has taken on new leadership roles with skill and grace. We already recognize the tireless dedication Megan shows the NMI, our students and team, and we are excited to see UGA recognizing her as well. Now, with an opportunity to strengthen her leadership abilities, we know that the future of the NMI is in good hands.
Please join us in congratulating Megan!
