How many places around Athens have you always wanted to visit, but never got around to? Wouldn’t it be nice if there were an app that would help you keep track of your Athens bucket list, record your memories, and even reveal hidden gems? Meet Athventure – UGA’s very first bucket list app for students.

It can be hard trying to find fun things to do off-campus when you are living in a new city, especially when you are either a freshman, transfer, or graduate student. Our solution is Athventure, a bucket list app for UGA students. Athventure challenges students to get off campus, explore Athens, and make the most of their short time in one of America’s best college towns.

Athventure will show users a map of Athens with icons indicating bucket list activities in the area. Users will be able to check activities off their bucket list and save journal entries with memories from their experiences. Users who complete at least five bucket list items in a category: restaurants, outdoors, shopping, etc. will receive a badge for that category. Living in a new city can be scary and overwhelming.
