Armani is a second-year student at UGA double majoring in Computer Science and Interdisciplinary Art and pursuing the New Media Certificate. She hopes to become a game designer and is especially interested in where programming, visual design, and storytelling intersect. Outside of the NMI, she serves as Campus Coordinator for DevDogs and Marketing Director for the JCC (Japanese Conversation Club), and she works with UGA’s Accommodated Testing office. She also enjoys volunteering and finding ways to use her time and skills to give back to her community.
In her free time, Armani powerlifts, draws, solves word and math puzzles, and plays entirely too many video games. Stardew Valley is a favorite (and Animal Crossing is her designated calming game), but she draws game-design inspiration from everything from The Legend of Zelda and free-roam Pokémon games to Elden Ring, Dark Souls, and Red Dead Redemption. She is also a very enthusiastic cat person with two cats and, for balance, two dogs.
