Grow Back Special projects is a web platform for members of The Grow Back Project to manage content to be sent to the main The Grow Back Project website. Our target users are Augusta area homeowners affected by Hurricane Helene and other recent storms. A few points of interest include utilizing emerging technologies (Augmented Reality) to aid users in replanting their yards, and allowing for realistic visualizations of how their yard can look. In terms of challenges we encountered, we switched clients midway through semester and worked parallel to another team, balancing collaboration with our individual efforts.

Working in parallel with the Grow Back Project, the Special Projects team is aiming to provide helpful information about tree species while simultaneously hosting a platform that aids in reforestation efforts in Georgia. My team switched clients midway through semester, so we had little time to prepare as a result.
