Adherence
The goal of our project is to design and develop a dynamic website and cohesive digital brand presence for Adherence, LLC. They are a consulting firm that connects companies with their cutting-edge compostable adhesive technology. An example of this technology is compostable fruit stickers. The technology itself is developed and owned by the University of Georgia’s New Materials Institute. The mission of the website is to clearly communicate what the technology is, why it matters, and how organizations can partner with Adherence or use their services. In addition, we are delivering a comprehensive brand kit and business cards to ensure Adherence presents a consistent and professional identity across digital and physical touchpoints.
The main challenge we have faced with this project is translating the highly technical and science-driven research of the technology into something digestible and accessible for the website, while still maintaining credibility. Based on our research, many science-based websites fall short on over simplifying information and overwhelm users with information that is too dense or technical. We have designed our website to organize information about key information, Adherence’s technology, real word applications, and how to get in touch with Adherence’s founders Evan White and Evan Stenchcome. In addition, the website incorporates intuitive content management systems that will allow the company to change or expand on the website outside the scope of the project. In addition, the brand kit will further strengthen this effort by enduring visual messaging and guidelines that are consistent and appealing across all communications.
Our final will deliver a seamless and engaging experience for users, whether they are a potential partner, investor or researcher. Users can navigate the site through visual storytelling accompanied by appealing pictures of the technology and will be able to easily understand the technology and its impact. In addition the website will have clear CTA’s to ensure that it’s easy for users to connect and collaborate. The polished brand materials like the business cards will equip Adherence with the materials to communicate their technology and grow in the industry.
