Longtime TEDxUGA Curator and speech crafting extraordinaire, Kate Devlin, has accomplished quite a feat as she has been awarded the 2019 CICERO Speechwriting Award in the category of Motivational Speech! Kate now employs her talents for Duarte, Inc. – a leading presentation design firm based out of Silicon Valley. Through her work with Duarte, Kate crafted the award-winning speech for Lucy Kalanithi, a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. Kalanithi delivered the presentation, “Work and Love and Suffering,” at the 19th International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer World Conference. Though we’re not surprised, we’re absolutely thrilled to see Kate’s continued commitment to ideas worth spreading is earning her the recognition she so deserves! Congratulations, Kate!
