A Fantastic First Honor Grad

Graduating last spring, Kendall Lake took the stage with an academic distinction of the highest degree. Achieving a 4.0 GPA throughout her entire undergraduate career, Kendall was one of only fifty to be deemed a First Honor Graduate. Even when dedicated entirely to academics, this is no small achievement. However, on top of her scholastic pursuits, Kendall is an integral part of the NMI team. As TEDxUGA Curator, Kendall’s clever whit and eloquent linguistic skills lead TEDxUGA’s annual class curriculum and presenter preparation.   Kendall graduated with her bachelor’s in journalism this past spring, but luckily, we don’t have to say goodbye just yet! After she wraps her summer internship at Spoke Media in Dallas, Kendall will return to the NMI to continue her reign as TEDxUGA Curator as she earns her Master’s in Emerging Media. When TEDxUGA takes the stage again in 2020, it promises to deliver in part due to her wordsmithing wizardry and willful dedication to UGA’s big ideas. Needless to say, Kendall is crushing it, and this first honor accolade only touches the surface. Congratulations, Kendall!
