The TEDxUGA team presented at this year’s Georgia Scholastic Press Association (GSPA) Fall Conference. The annual conference brings together middle and high school students representing broadcast programs, literary magazines, newspapers, news websites, and yearbooks for a day of learning and collaboration.
In their session, TEDxUGA Licensee Megan Ward and Curator Isa Martinez shared how to craft compelling presentations, emphasizing the importance of preparation, audience connection, and creating memorable moments that resonate long after the presentation ends.
Drawing from more than a decade of TEDxUGA experience, Megan and Isa shared insights from the TEDx approach to storytelling, encouraging students to see themselves not just as speakers but as mentors guiding their audiences toward inspiration and understanding.
