The role of user experience (UX) design is to reduce the cognitive effort by users. As UX designers, we have a responsibility to design products that are enjoyable, easy to learn, and aesthetically pleasing. Before designing anything, UX designers need to understand how users think — how they learn, react, respond — to the world around them, specifically in the context of using digital products.
