Teaching in New Spaces

Director of University Experiential Learning Andrew Potter, left, teaches students in the Industry Fellows Class inside the Innovation Hub.

UGA’s Innovation Hub is now open, and we’re excited that our students can enjoy everything this creative, co-working space has to offer! The Innovation Hub is home to UGA’s startup venture efforts and experiential learning activities, and NMI faculty and students get to be some of the first to enjoy this innovative expansion.

Within this renovated space, we’re teaching two classes this semester: JRMC 7015: Emerging Media Capstone and NMIX 4220: Digital Brown Bag! Crafted for collaboration and teeming with tech, the Innovation Hub is an ideal space for learning, working, and doing. Not only will students get the opportunity to work with industry partners, but the Innovation Hub will also be the university’s front door for company representatives looking to collaborate with NMI faculty and students.

With opportunity abound, we can’t think of a better space for technowledgable students to explore, collaborate, and get the creative juices flowing!
