For the second semester, the NMI hosted Demo Day: a drop-in event welcoming the entire UGA community to see what the NMI is all about. Certificate students and tech-curious friends from around campus gathered at the Delta Innovation Hub where our Spring 2026 Capstone teams were ready to demo and discuss their projects.
Teams set up tradeshow-style booths to show off a variety of innovative projects including a custom GPT, creative applications of augmented reality, and original client work. The full faculty squad was also on hand to answer questions and provide information about NMI coursework and out-of-classroom opportunities to build valuable professional skills.
Thank you to our New Media Fundster Fam for providing the financial support necessary to make this event possible. Demo Day is a great opportunity for Capstone students to practice presenting their work ahead of SLAM.
