Earlier this month in the midst of Hurricane Matthew, John Weatherford traveled to Savannah to speak at the Outdoor Advertising Association of Georgia’s 2016 Conference, continuing the tradition of the NMI serving as an education resource for the ever-shifting technology landscape.

John’s talk briefly covered the history and current state of autonomous vehicles (AVs) as well as a few key topics and trends to keep in mind concerning the future of self-driving cars.

The OAAG attendees, John reports, were very interested to learn about how they can anticipate and adapt their advertising strategies to a growing AV market. We were happy to consult but even happier John made it back to Athens before the storm hit!
