NMIXpert: Sami Peterson

Xpert Hours: F 12:30-2:30P

Sami is a fourth-year student majoring in Marketing and International Business, with a Spanish Minor and Digital Marketing Emphasis. She plans to graduate this semester and continue her Double Dawgs to earn a Master of Arts in Emerging Media through the NMI in Spring of 2026.

Outside of classes, Sami works at the UGA Career Center as a Social Media Marketing Intern, she love to read, enjoys scrapbooking, volunteers at ESP, and loves spending time outside.

Sami started taking classes with the NMI in Spring of 2024, with New Media Design and Web Development, Native App Development in Fall of 2024, and Advanced Web Development this semester. Sami is happy to assist with Swift UI, HTML / CSS, Bootstrap, WordPress, Canva, Adobe, and more, but is most recently familiar with material in NMIX 4030/6030.
