NMIXpert: LaDania Dean

LaDania is an Emerging Media Masters student on the one-year track and has been with the NMI since 2023. During her time as an undergraduate at UGA, she completed the New Media Certificate while pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising with a Communication Studies Minor.

LaDania specializes in prototyping, UX/UI design, graphic design, and project management. She enjoys working in Figma, Canva, and Adobe platforms and is especially interested in how design, storytelling, and technology come together to create engaging experiences. She is also comfortable with Web Development and Native App Development content, including SwiftUI, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and Vue.js.

Outside of the NMI, LaDania recently wrapped up a four-year role with Georgia Football’s Coaches Video Department and has a strong passion for sports, entertainment, and media production. She currently works as a Videographer and short-form video creator for Trinity Apparel and enjoys exploring creative spaces such as photography, videography, acting, modeling, and podcasting.
