Justin is a candidate for a Masters in Emerging Media. He finished his undergraduate degree at UGA with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a Minor in Film Studies. During his undergraduate career, he developed proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite through projects in multimedia journalism. Since graduating, Justin expanded his experience with Adobe working as a Video Producer at a streaming platform owned by The Weather Group.

His work behind the scenes of digital products has inspired a passion for all things NMI. Justin can offer assistance in navigating HTML, CSS, and Xcode projects for NMI courses, and consult students regarding capstone projects. Additionally, Justin has a solid grasp of XR-related programs like Blender, Unity, and Reality Composer. However, he is most experienced in helping students navigate Adobe Creative Suite.

Currently, Justin works as a production assistant for the “People, Parasites & Plagues” podcast in partnership with The UGA College of Veterinary Medicine. He enjoys spending his free time on the diamond, playing intramural softball with his friends in Atlanta. The geekier side of him likes to collect retro video games and vinyl records. In fact, he’s currently tinkering with a VR game that involves interactive, musical elements.
