This month, Chris Gerlach and Claire Jordan took the NMI’s “make it work better” mantra beyond the institute with two AI-powered presentations.
First up, Chris led a workshop for UGA’s Business Engagement, Foundation Relations, and Career Center teams, where he walked through practical ways ChatGPT and other AI tools can streamline comms crafting, boost productivity, and unlock creative problem-solving across campus.
Then, Chris joined forces with Claire to bring that same energy to Georgia Power’s communication pros, exploring creative capabilities, unpacking prompting practices, and showcasing how AI can shoulder routine tasks without dimming the human touch.
Each audience left with practical techniques, clearer prompting habits, and a better sense of how AI can enhance the work they already do. The result? More confidence, more clarity, and more ways to make everyday tasks shine a little brighter.
