UGA Give Back Hack

As part of Thinc. Week 2014, the NMI is hosting UGA’s first ever Give-Back-Hack. In a celebration of the spirit of entrepreneurship here at UGA, we will spend 24-hours exploring the intersection between personal media and public good.
At midnight on Saturday, April 13th, the Give-Back-Hack will lock 5 teams of students away for 24 hours – we won’t release them until they have used their personal media skills to make Athens a better place. Teams will address important community problems such as hunger, homelessness, safety and mental health. Only 25 students will be selected to participate and receive the title “UGA Student Entrepreneur Fellow.” Tired and weary, the students will present at Thinc’s. Kick-Off Event Monday afternoon. The NMI thanks Thinc. at UGA for their partnership and the Verizon Foundation and Four Athens for their support
