Dayne is the Program Coordinator for both the New Media Institute and the Carmical Sports Media Institute. With the NMI, Dayne serves as the TEDxUGA Producer, Chair of the New Media Advisory Council, and leads NMI Professional Fridays.

Dayne is a Grady College Double Dawg with a Bachelors in Digital and Broadcast Journalism and a Masters in Journalism. He has been a sports reporter for more than ten years and currently works with UGASports.com. Previous work stops include Grady College as a Public Relations Specialist, See.Spark.Go, WRBL-TV, and WALB-TV. As a native Georgian, he has worked in virtually every area of the state and leverages these experiences and connections to further the NMI mission.

When away from campus, Dayne is likely playing tennis, plotting his next “Survivor” audition video, and being a dad. He both strives for and is resigned to be more like Larry David every day.

Dayne joined the NMI in January 2022.
