Another SLAM Success!

A few weeks ago, the NMI hit the road to Atlanta for yet another successful Spring SLAM. Students, families, friends, and alumni gathered at Roam Galleria for a celebration of all the innovative uses of emerging technologies from this semester.

Although every SLAM is special, Spring 2018 was particularly unique because it marked our largest class of Capstone students to date, showcased our first cohort of service-learning projects, and included a project from the first-ever combined team of undergraduate and graduate students from both the Certificate and Emerging Media programs.

We’re both amazed and proud of everything these students accomplished throughout the semester. Whether they coordinated with clients or conquered new technologies, the teams worked tirelessly for months to create the projects they shared at SLAM.

If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a Fall 2018 Capstone client, let Chris Gerlach know. Or maybe you’re interested in sponsoring SLAM? For more information on sponsorship opportunities, reach out to Megan Ward.

You can learn more about each of the projects as well as watch the trailers, see the posters, and check out all the photos from the event.
