Congratulations Dr. Aldridge!

Help us congratulate the New Media Institute’s very own Dr. Emuel Aldridge for being selected to work with the Distance Learning Committee as part of Grady’s inaugural Online Learning Development Cohort!

Dean Charles Davis, who was tasked with forming Grady’s Distance Learning Committee last year, was seeking a select group of faculty to collaborate with the UGA Office of Online Learning.

Dr. Aldridge was selected to serve on the cohort after justifying why NMIX 4110: New Media Production should be developed as an online course in time for Summer 2015. As Grady continues to grow, so does the importance of online learning within the pedagogical mix. The New Media Institute is excited and proud to have Dr. Aldridge and NMIX 4110 at its forefront!

The NMI congratulates the other four faculty also selected for this opportunity: Peggy Kreshel, Shira Chess, Bartosz Wojdynski, and Hartmut Koenitz. Both Drs. Chess and Koenitz teach new media classes periodically and the NMI looks forward to supporting their online-learning ventures!
