Just before the Thanksgiving break, the NMI hosted our inaugural Demo Day, a drop-in event welcoming the entire UGA community to see what the NMI is all about. Current NMC students, tech-curious friends, and even campus advisers joined us for tech demonstrations and presentations from our Fall 2025 Capstone teams who had the opportunity to show off their hard work and innovative projects ahead of NMIXpo. The event offered a glimpse into what it means to gain skills that make you “technowledgeable.”
We want to give a special thank you to our New Media Fundster Fam for providing the financial support necessary to make this event possible. Demo Day not only gave Capstone students a chance to test pilot their presentations, but drew interested current and potential NMI students from all over campus.
