We’re thrilled to announce that our very own Isabella Martinez has joined the New Media Institute full-time as our Events Coordinator and TEDxUGA Curator!
In this role, Isa leads the planning, communication, and execution of all the NMI’s signature productions, including TEDxUGA and NMIXpo.
With a Master of Arts in Emerging Media, a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, and the New Media Certificate, Isa brings not only impressive credentials but also her trademark leadership, organization, and drive to the role.
In additional to event coordination, Isa assists with the New Media & TED course, where she helps students sharpen their storytelling and presentation skills. When she’s not orchestrating the NMI’s biggest events, Isa enjoys teaching yoga, exploring the outdoors, and volunteering with the Athens Area Humane Society.
We are so excited Isa has chosen to dedicate her talents to the NMI, and we can’t wait to see how she continues to make our productions not just work, but work better!
