GKnow is an innovative app that is designed to help users create detailed, interactive genograms (family diagrams) that map out family structures and relationship dynamics. This tool goes beyond traditional genogram-making by offering a standardized approach to communication in therapy, ensuring consistency across clinical settings.

GKnow’s client, Candace Couch, is a family therapist based in Athens, GA who is in search of a new method to simplify the genogram creation process in her practice as well as in the practices of others within the family counseling industry. GKnow enhances this process by providing both therapist and patient portals, making it easier to track patterns and progress over time. In addition, GKnow provides a “learning library”, which allows patients as well as the general population to better understand the meaning of symbols and connections within their genograms.

Designed for iPad and Apple Pencil, this app sets a new industry standard for genogram usage and serves as a powerful resource for both therapists and patients, transforming the way family history and relationships are understood in therapeutic and clinical practices.
