Reuniting with a child in the foster care system is an overwhelming journey, but The Journey Home App is here to help. Founded by Moms Adopting Moms, this mobile platform provides essential resources, mentorship, and a supportive community—all in one place. From legal aid and parenting classes to financial assistance and mental health support, the app equips mothers with the tools they need to navigate the complex reunification process. Through goal-tracking features, peer support forums, and automated reminders, The Journey Home App empowers mothers to stay on track and regain stability for themselves and their children.

For too many mothers, the road to reunification is filled with obstacles—confusing legal systems, limited access to resources, and a lack of emotional support. These challenges often lead to delays or even prevent families from reuniting. Recognizing this gap, The Journey Home App was created to streamline the process, offering a direct connection to guidance and services in a way that is accessible and easy to use. Currently, we are designing a prototype of the app, which will later be pitched to Microsoft and other tech companies to develop into a fully functioning platform.
