Athens Homeless Coalition

The Athens Homeless Coalition (AHC) is undergoing a transformation to strengthen its advocacy for homeless individuals in Athens. Under new leadership, AHC seeks to revamp its online presence and enhance community engagement. Our capstone team is tasked with redesigning the AHC website to create a clearer, more user-friendly experience. The new website will provide a straightforward way for visitors to understand AHC’s mission, track its initiatives, and make informed donations. We’re also integrating a community event calendar and resource section to make AHC a more actionable hub for supporters.

In addition to the website overhaul, we are developing a comprehensive brand kit that includes a cohesive logo, refined color palette, typography, and visual assets to unify AHC’s presence across all platforms. This brand kit will serve as a reference point for all future communications, ensuring consistency in their messaging. We’re also establishing a social media strategy to increase engagement and follower growth. This strategy focuses on increasing post frequency, creating more interactive content, and showcasing the Coalition’s work in a way that compels followers to donate, volunteer, or attend events.

To support AHC’s community outreach, we are crafting templates and materials for event promotion, ensuring that AHC can easily engage the Athens community. We are providing a roadmap for hosting and promoting community events aimed at expanding the AHC’s influence and driving local involvement. Our work will equip AHC with the tools to sustain these initiatives long-term, positioning them as a key player in homeless advocacy in Athens.
