NMIXpert: Torin Smith

Torin has been involved with the NMI for two years as an Emerging Media Double Dawg. He plans to start the EM Masters program in the Summer of 2025. Torin is a fourth-year journalism student graduating in December 2024. He is also in the Sports Media and News Literacy Certificates.

Torin is available to help with design–including Photoshop and Illustrator–and with Web Dev, specifically HTML, CSS, and WordPress.

Outside of school, you would most likely find Torin watching sports of some kind. He is a huge hockey fan (Go Rangers), and has recently decided to try golf, but his game needs a lot of work. He also works for the UGA club hockey teams as the Director of Broadcasting
