NMIXpert: Alex Schamis

Alex has been involved with the NMI since summer 2023. He is a fourth-year Philosophy and Cognitive Science major pursuing the New Media Certificate. His primary areas of expertise are in Figma, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and WordPress.

Alex is an advisor at the Office of Global Engagement, where he helps create, facilitate, and advertise study abroad programs in Africa and Latin America (and thinks everyone should study abroad at least once if they get the chance). In his free time, he loves to travel, hike, cook, do puzzles, and play video games.
