Kindness Matters
So you think you want to own a ferret? You might want to think twice about that.
Sure, they’re cute and furry; but they’re also extremely expensive, a lot of work to care for, have specific needs, and are not good with kids. Let’s not forget that they’re smelly, they poop a lot, and they might bite.
Still interested? Good. Glad you weren’t deterred. Maybe owning a ferret is for you after all.
If you weren’t aware of how much work goes into owning a ferret, then you haven’t stumbled across Kindness Matters Ferret Rescue yet.
Kindness Matters Ferret Rescue is more than a rehab and re-home facility. The heart of the organization is to be a servant of Christ and to assist those who have a desire to care for ferrets. This rescue is dedicated to educating people about the reality of owning a ferret as a pet with the hopes of decreasing the number of them being given away each year. The lack of proper knowledge on how to care for these animals is the main reason that so many end up needing to be re-homed in the first place.
Most rescues have a goal to re-home all of their animals. Kindness Matters Ferret Rescue has a goal to educate people and eliminate the need for their animals to be re-homed.
