What is the Difference Between WordPress Pages vs. Posts

Pages and posts are the most basic building blocks of WordPress. Understanding the difference between these two will guide your decision making when creating beautiful, compelling WordPress content.

When reading this article, disregard #3, using a page builder. You should to be wary of anything that duplicates core WP functionality. Sorry not sorry, Mr. Beaver!

Disregard page builders

Page builders like Elementor, Beaver Builder and Divi may seem great and can, in certain circumstances, be useful. But, you can almost certainly achieve the same outcomes with built-in WordPress tools. And, once you start with Elementor, etc., you can never really leave. Because they use proprietary, non-standard elements to create content, if you ever want to change themes down the road, you’ll be stuck.

TL;DR: don’t use page-builders.
